The parking lot where I work has many of these beautiful Ginkgo trees. They have the most interesting leaf shape and end up almost glowing fiery yellow in late fall, with this interesting green-yellow gradient as they transition. As I walk by them I always wish I could stop and paint them. So I finally did. Grateful to dodge the rain and squeeze in this quick plein air painting.
