about taaron

Born in 1982 in Michigan, Taaron’s interest in art, like many artists, emerged as he was a young boy. By age twelve, Taaron won his first state art competition. From 2000 — 2005 Taaron studied art and design at Pensacola Christian College, in Pensacola, Florida, where he earned both an undergraduate and graduate degree under the teaching of artist/illustrator Brian Jekel, a contemporary master in his own right.

Taaron’s appetite to study the work of such modern masters as John Singer Sargent, Joaquin Sorolla, Philip Alexius de László, and Anders Zorn and more contemporary masters such as Richard Schmid, Daniel Gerhartz, and Scott Burdick has influenced his work.

About his work he has said, “My goal as an artist is to bring honor and praise not to myself, but to Jesus Christ, the One who created me and gives me the ability and reason to create. Soli Deo Gloria – to God alone be the glory.”

Taaron currently resides in Gallatin, Tennessee with his beautiful wife Niki, a watercolorist, and his beautiful daughter Addison Jane, a future extraordinary artist.
